St John’s is blessed with a beautiful church and grounds entrusted to us by generous families in our community. This has enabled us to worship in the same location for over 150 years.

But the life of our parish continues to grow and our church family becomes stronger and closer. As our work in the community and the nature and needs of our ministry and worship changes there is an ever-increasing need for funds to support it.

Giving money to God’s work not only blesses others but also greatly blesses you. Give what you can, not what you cannot. No amount is too small:

God will bless your offering and he will bless you!

There are several ways to give money to God’s work at St Johns in Trentham.

Bank Automatic Payment

Bank Automatic Payment

An easy way to give is to setup an automatic payment. This can be done either online through your bank website or by visiting your bank and getting them to set it up for you.

Required details include the church bank account: Parish of Trentham ANZ 06 0773 0009875 00. Please include your name in the particulars and “Giving” as a reference.

One-off donations can also be made online.

If you are not on the parish roll, and would like a receipt, please email your name and postal address to office.trentham@xtra.co.nz.

At the end of the tax year, you will be provided with a receipt to allow you to claim a tax rebate for your giving.

Bequest

Bequest

Making a gift in your will is a way of thanking God for enriching your life and provides an enduring legacy for others in the parish.  It is a simple act that anyone can do—it is one of the easiest ways to give.

Please approach a Church Warden for details.

Envelopes

Envelopes

Cash may be placed in an envelope provided by the church.  To provide for confidentiality over giving, the Parish Recorder will assign you a number, and give you a set of numbered envelopes. Envelopes can then be placed in the offering bags during a service. At the end of the tax year, you will be provided with a receipt to allow you to claim a tax rebate for your giving.

Please contact the Parish Recorder, Judy Harrison, on (04) 528 7923 or jgharrison@nowmail.co.nz if you wish to give in this way.
